Our 2008 trip to Provence is scheduled from June 13 to June 20. We will have two 2009 trips
scheduled in June 09.
Our Provencal luxury estate is a perfectly restored farmhouse overlooking the vineyards,
close to the tiny village of Oppede le Vieux, in the heart of the Luberon. Manicured
landscaping. Fruit trees crawling with apricots, cherries, almonds and lavender all over.
Each wing of the estate has its own private swimming pool, and it feels good to relax among
friends, with a glass of local wine, awaiting the family-style, al fresco dinner prepared by
Chef Gui and whoever wants to participate.
Our days are filled with exciting discoveries. From exploring outdoors markets with Chef Gui
before the daily cooking class, or visiting medieval abbeys and coves on the Mediterranean
with Caitlin, or just playing Provencal bocce ball (Petanque) with locals.
Provence is known for healthy cuisine, charming villages, and a light that has inspired many
artists, including Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Matisse and Monet among others, and of
course local artist Paul Cezanne.
